How do you explain to your family/friends in one sentence what you do at GFD?

I am a mediator between what the management decides, what the employees want and what the public and media write about us.

What shouldn’t be missing in your fridge?

Ketchup. This is an optional “add-on” on the table at home with many dishes.

What book is on your bedside table?

I’m currently reading “Die Getriebenen” by Robin Alexander. It is about the time of the so-called “refugee crisis” in 2015 and the key decisions of the actors involved at that time.

What’s your best way to relax?

Definitely while reading! But also when drawing in my Bullet Journal.

Dresden is …

… an example of why every society needs humanities scholars.

  • I never miss this broadcast on television…
    Quizduell
  • Favourite writer or hero of a novel?
Katniss Everdeen from "The Hunger Games"
  • Favourite city?
    Copenhagen
  • Favourite sport or club?
    Dancing
  • What amazes me …
... the imagination and creativity of children
  • Facebook or Instagram?
    Instagram
  • Cooking or cleaning the kitchen?
    Cooking
  • Starry sky or laser show?
    Starry sky

Which exhibition did you last visit?

The exhibition was called “Fear. A german emotional state?” and was shown at the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum in Leipzig.

Life motto? Life wisdom?

“Be scared. Do it anyway.” For me this means: You may be afraid, but do it anyway!

With which meal do you like to impress your guests?

Cakes and pastries of all kinds.

Your friends appreciate you for…

In the words of a good friend: “… that you first kick ass and then give warm hugs.”

I volunteer my free time to help…

I don’t know if this can be called commitment, but I am very dedicated to the de-stigmatization of and education about mental illness. I speak openly about my own experiences and break this taboo again and again, especially in my private life. Nobody should be afraid to say: “Yes, I have a mental illness” – and I hope that I can make a small contribution to this.

What do you like most about GFD?

To be honest: all the benefits. In the beginning I was blown away by the fact that there is free coffee, cocoa and tea 24/7 at the machines. And that is just the beginning! When I hear from family and friends from other companies and industries, I really feel very lucky here.
